CTOnews.com, March 15, according to a report in Taiwan's Economic Daily, TSMC's salary adjustment has been carried out in April over the years. This year, many large companies have heard news of manpower adjustment or strict cost control, and TSMC's salary adjustment plan has also attracted attention. TSMC revealed on March 13 that the annual routine pay adjustment plan remains unchanged, but there are no figures for the range at present.

Judging from past data, TSMC restructured pay by 20% in 2021; it is reported that last year's pay adjustment was more than 8% higher than in previous years due to inflation, and even up to 14% in terms of grade performance. It is reported that this year's routine pay adjustment will return to normal, about 3% to 5%, but it has not been confirmed by TSMC.

According to TSMC's financial report, the number of employees increased to 61777 last year, an increase of 7584 from 54193 the year before last. The average employee salary was 3.175 million New Taiwan dollars (CTOnews.com note: currently about 714000 yuan), an increase of 28.9 percent over the previous year's 2.463 million New Taiwan dollars (currently about 554000 yuan). For the first time, the annual salary exceeded 3 million New Taiwan dollars (currently about 675000 yuan).

In addition, TSMC's board of directors announced that total employee dividends reached a record high of more than T $121.4 billion (currently about 27.315 billion yuan) last year, half of which were paid out last year and the other half in July this year.
