CTOnews.com March 15 news, SAIC announced the launch of the Ningde-Mexico international self-operated route, Anji Phoenix carrying the first batch of MG brand new cars, from the exclusive ro / ro wharf of Ningde Port in Fujian to the port of lazaro cardenas in Lazaro, Mexico.

The SAIC MG brand entered the Mexican market in October 2020, and its sales exceeded 48000 last year, an increase of 201% over the same period last year, ranking seventh in the passenger car market. Thousands of new cars going out to sea have been taken off the line at the SAIC Ningde plant, and so far more than 500000 new energy and smart vehicles have been taken off the line at the plant.

CTOnews.com previously reported that SAIC exported and sold 1017459 vehicles in its overseas bases in 2021, up 46.82% and 45.92% from the same period last year, and topped the list of domestic car companies for seven consecutive years. From January to February this year, SAIC's overseas sales exceeded 160000 vehicles, an increase of 31.9% over the same period last year.
