CTOnews.com March 15 news, it is reported that Samsung plans to set up a national industrial complex covering an area of 215 million ping (about 7.1 million square meters) in the city of long in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, and build five cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing production lines.

According to the report, Samsung plans to invest 300 trillion won in Gyeonggi Province in 2042 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1.58 trillion yuan) to build the world's largest semiconductor cluster of high-tech systems based on a single complex.

Samsung calls the project "Samsung Semiconductor Mega Cluster" and plans existing semiconductor production sites in Connector Xing District (Giheung), Hwaseong and Pyeongtaek.
