CTOnews.com, March 15 (Xinhua)-- Hon Hai made a net profit of NT $39.979 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022, up 3% from a month earlier and down 10% from a year earlier, according to financial data.

CTOnews.com learned from official Hon Hai data that Hon Hai made a net profit of 141.483 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 31.834 billion yuan) in 2022, an increase of 2% year-on-year and a record high.

Looking ahead to the first quarter of 2023, Hon Hai said that in the first quarter of this year, compared with the fourth quarter of last year, consumer smart products, cloud network products, computer terminal products, and other products of components would all decline. If the first quarter of this year compared with the same period last year, consumer smart products will grow, cloud network products will be flat, computer terminals and components will decline.

Looking ahead to 2023, Hon Hai said that this year's performance will be the same as last year, in which consumer smart products will decline, but cloud network products, computer terminal products and other products of components will continue to grow.
