CTOnews.com, March 15 (Xinhua)-- language learning application Multi-neighbor (Duolingo) today announced the launch of Duolingo Max subscription service, which integrates OpenAI's newly released GPT-4 large language model.

Many neighboring countries currently offer Super subscriptions for $6.99 a month, can access any course without any advertising, and can post personalized comments on Practice Hub.

The latest Max subscription service from many neighboring countries charges $30 a month (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB 206) and an annual fee of US $168 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB 1156), offering two new functions, Explain My Answer and Roleplay, on top of Super subscription service.

Explain My Answer can give learners the opportunity to learn more about their correct and wrong answers in the course. Users can chat with Duo (the mascot of many neighboring countries) and get a simple explanation of why their answers are correct or wrong, and get more examples or explanations.

Roleplay allows learners to have an interactive dialogue with AI roles. At present, Max subscription service is limited to the iPhone platform, mainly for English users learning Spanish and French. Many neighboring countries say they are about to expand to more languages and platforms.
