It is said that the charging piles, which have been tested by Tesla employees, are expected to support 1000V architecture and can be used by other brands of electric vehicles.

Tesla staff told them that these V4 supercharging stations will open this month. It is said that at least ten people showed up at the construction site yesterday, and they were reprimanded for taking pictures.

At first glance, the new V4 overcharge station looks similar to Tesla's 72 kW charger and appears to be similar in design to the Megachargers used by Tesla Semi in its California plant, but it seems to be equipped with longer charging cords, making it easier for other brands to charge.

At present, the maximum charging power of Tesla's most common urban super charging pile is 250kW, while V4 expects the peak charging rate to reach 300 to 350kW.

So far, Tesla has built and opened more than 1500 super charging stations, more than 10000 super charging piles, more than 700 destination charging stations and more than 1900 destination charging stations on Chinese mainland. According to Tesla, there are already more than 40000 supercharging stations worldwide, which can replenish 200 miles in 15 minutes (CTOnews.com Note: about 321.87 km).
