CTOnews.com reported on March 15 that Tecno released the Pop 7 Pro phone in early February, but there was no standard version at that time. The Tecno Pop 7 standard version is now available on the Google Play Management Center website. It appeared on the Geekbench website in October last year and received FCC certification in December.

Google Play Management Center shows that the phone has a 720x 1600 resolution (20:9) display and is expected to be in the same range as the 6.56in HD+ IPS LCD on the Pro model, although the size is not clearly listed. According to FCC, the size of the machine is 164x74x 8mm, which is roughly the same as that of Pro.

The Tecno Pop 7 comes with a Violet Unisoc SC9863A chip (CTOnews.com note: the chip supports 4G LTE, not 5G network), which was previously built into products such as the 2021 Tecno Pop 5 LTE. The new aircraft will be equipped with Android 12 Go and HiOS 12 systems.

Only 2GB is the memory of Tecno Pop 7 phone. The Pop 7 Pro has 3GB memory and a Helio A22 chip, so it runs a complete Android 12 system. According to FCC, the Tecno Pop 7 phone will have built-in 64GB storage and support for 10W charging.

According to the Tecno Pop 7 running score website, the BF6,Geekbench 5 has a single core score of 130 and a multi-core score of 481. Equipped with eight-core processors (four 1.6GHz Cortex-A55 cores and four 1.2GHz cores), PowerVR GE8322 GPU, 2GB memory and Android 12.
