Under this general trend, game manufacturers have also continuously launched remade versions of classic games according to the needs of players in recent years.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that 79% of gamers said they had recently played retro games. These "retro" games have grown up with Generation X (people born between 1964 and 1980) and millennials (people born in the 1980s and 1990s), so it is not surprising that they attract the attention of players in that age group.

Slightly surprisingly, Generation Z (people born between 1995 and 2009) also liked games made in the 1980s and 1990s. As for the reasons for playing these retro games, 38% of the respondents said they were "nostalgic".

According to the survey report, the five most popular games are Super Mario, Tetris, Pac-Man, Super Mario Racing and Legend of Zelda.
