CTOnews.com March 14 news, Ningde Times recently signed a business cooperation and advanced technology enabling strategic cooperation agreement with BAIC Group. The two sides plan to jointly develop power battery products and explore the new energy vehicle market.

Han Wei, co-president of Ningde Times Market System, and Liu Yu, deputy general manager of BAIC Group and chairman of BAIC New Energy, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Zeng Yuqun, Chairman of Ningde Times, Jiang Deyi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Beiqi Group, witnessed the signing.

According to the official introduction, Ningde Times will be deeply integrated into the vehicle development and production of self-owned brand new energy automobile enterprises affiliated to BAIC Group, and provide competitive power battery products and service guarantee. The two sides will build a closer strategic partnership and carry out comprehensive cooperation in power batteries.

A few days ago, BAIC Group also signed an agreement with Horizon, announcing that it will jointly build market-leading intelligent driving solutions. Based on the full series of journey chips such as Horizon Journey 2, Journey 3 and Journey 5, BAIC Group will realize the R & D and application of intelligent products of several independent brands, and the first mass production cooperation model is expected to land this year.
