As can be seen from the picture, the dual-source smart heavy truck is equipped with braided cables, a bit like the trolley buses previously used in urban buses, which can be connected to power on roads with catenary and powered by batteries on roads without catenary.

It is reported that the dual-source intelligent heavy truck can be used in road and mine transportation, supporting "mobile charging" and "charging synchronization", solving the problems of electric heavy truck running difference and slow charging speed. When the vehicle is braking, it can also automatically return the electric energy generated by braking to the pantograph.

According to the mode of freight transport in China, in 2022, the national railway freight volume was 3.9 billion tons, accounting for 8.0% of the total freight transport volume; the road freight volume was 37.12 billion tons, accounting for 76.3% of the total freight volume; and the waterway freight volume was 7.616 billion tons, accounting for 15.69% of the total freight volume. Road transport has always occupied the dominant position in the freight industry.
