The developer urged fans not to distribute any leaked information about Stalker 2, saying that the information currently stolen by hackers does not represent the final retail version.

This is not the first time we have encountered attacks that attempt to crack and steal data, including personal information. Over the past year or so, we have been subjected to all kinds of attacks, including extortion, intrusion, harming players and fans, and even trying to sabotage our game development.

Game developer GSC Game World announced last month that it would increase the price of the "Stalker 2: heart of Chernobyl" Ultimate Edition by $40 to keep the game's collectibles at ideal quality during these turbulent times.

Stalker 2: the Heart of Chernobyl will be launched on Xbox and PC platforms in 2023. Game developer GSC Game World has not announced a specific release date, and Ultimate Edition is expected to accept pre-orders in many markets, including North America.
