CTOnews.com, March 13 (Xinhua)-- some users of Samsung Galaxy S23 phones reported on social media and forums that they stuttered when sliding the page when using third-party apps, including Reddit, WhatsApp, Twitter and YouTube, according to Sammobile. Most users said the problem did not exist when they first bought Galaxy S23, but it began to occur after the phone updated the February 2023 security patch, the first software update received by Galaxy S23.

A Galaxy S23 user recorded a screen video that was tested with Reddit, but some users pointed out that the Reddit app itself had some problems, so it could not be used to determine whether the phone had this problem. Second, the recording screen itself can affect performance and may cause jitter when sliding the page.

However, some other users report that they are experiencing similar stutter problems with scrolling animation when using a variety of other applications, and scrolling looks normal in the One UI system interface. However, more Galaxy S23 users say they don't have any such problems with their phones.

Currently, the occurrence of stutter in scrolling animation only affects some users, and the reason may have nothing to do with the security update in February 2023, or it may be caused by a third-party application or other unknown factors.
