According to CTOnews.com news on March 13, financial data show that Acer, a big PC brand, received about NT $14.678 billion (CTOnews.com note: currently about 3.317 billion yuan) in February, an increase of 7.7% from the previous month and a decrease of 35.9% from the same period last year.

In the first two months of this year, Acer accumulated revenue of 28.311 billion New Taiwan dollars (CTOnews.com), down 41.1 per cent from a year earlier.

Acer said non-personal computer (PC) and display businesses accounted for 32.7 per cent of total revenue in February and 34 per cent in the previous two months.

For comparison, Acer collected about NT $13.633 billion (currently about 3.081 billion yuan) in January, down 40.45% from a month earlier and 45.81% from a year earlier, a 35-month low. Acer's consolidated revenue in 2022 was NT $275.43 billion (currently about 62.247 billion yuan), down 13.7% from a year earlier.
