The full category pre-sale delivery cycle has also been shortened from 45 days to less than 15 days.

In terms of rights and interests protection, Douyin e-commerce data show that "extreme withdrawal" has covered 70% of after-sales orders, with a pre-delivery coverage rate of 94.5%. "Gift implementation" urges people and merchants to implement their contracts to protect consumers' rights and interests of promised gifts, and the number of related complaints has dropped by 83%. Douyin e-commerce has also paid a cumulative total of more than 200 million yuan in consumer rights protection funds to help consumers deal with after-sales disputes through advance compensation.

Douyin e-commerce report pointed out that the platform created rules such as the General principles of Douyin E-Commerce rules and sub-norms of commodity quality, to encourage merchants with talent to adhere to long-term doctrine and focus on improving product quality and consumer experience. The platform also establishes a sub-model of commodity quality to make a more pre-and objective evaluation of the quality of all goods.

CTOnews.com learned from the Douyin e-commerce report that Douyin e-commerce invested more than 100 million yuan in sampling inspection special funds, cumulatively inspected more than 60,000 items, punished more than 28000 offending merchants, intercepted more than 950,000 illegal commodity releases and banned more than 3 million risky goods in the whole year.

In terms of information security protection, Douyin e-commerce protects user information with full ciphertext, orders with full link information encryption, and private data with full ciphertext transmission. By the end of the year, the coverage of encrypted shipping orders reached 94.59%.
