CTOnews.com March 12, according to Reuters, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on March 10 local time approved Boeing to resume delivery of the wide-body 787 Dreamliner next week.

Due to problems with fuselage parts, the Federal Aviation Administration announced on February 23 that Boeing once again suspended delivery of the 787 Dreamliner to users. FAA said in a statement that Boeing temporarily suspended deliveries of the 787Dreamliner after informing FAA that it was conducting additional analysis of a fuselage component.

FAA said Boeing had addressed these issues and said it might resume issuing final safe delivery approvals next week.

In addition, Boeing said it had completed an analysis confirming that the aircraft met regulatory requirements and no longer needed to make changes to the production or in-service fleet.

As an ultra-long-range medium-sized airliner, the Boeing 787 was launched in December 2009, which is characterized by the extensive use of advanced composite materials to build aircraft frames, ultra-low fuel consumption, low pollution emissions, efficient and comfortable cabin environment.

CTOnews.com has reported that Boeing has suspended delivery several times since 2020 due to production defects. Last August, Boeing delivered a Boeing 787 Dreamliner to American Airlines (American Airlines), the first such aircraft to resume delivery since delivery was suspended in May 2021.
