In terms of output, in February 2023, China's power battery output totaled 41.5GWh, with a year-on-year growth of 30.5% and a month-on-month growth of 47.1%. Among them, the output of ternary batteries was 14.6GWh, accounting for 35.1% of the total output, up 25.0% year-on-year and 48.3% month-on-month; the output of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 26.8GWh, accounting for 64.7% of the total output, up 33.7% year-on-year and 46.3% month-on-month.

1-2 In January, the cumulative output of power batteries in China was 69.6GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 13.3%. Among them, the cumulative output of ternary batteries was 24.4GWh, accounting for 35.0% of the total output, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 8.5%; the cumulative output of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 45.1GWh, accounting for 64.8% of the total output, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 16.2%.

In terms of loading volume, in February, China's power battery loading volume was 21.9GWh, with a year-on-year growth of 60.4% and a month-on-month growth of 36.0%. Among them, the loading volume of ternary batteries was 6.7GWh, accounting for 30.6% of the total loading volume, up 15.0% year-on-year and 23.7% month-on-month; the loading volume of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 15.2GWh, accounting for 69.3% of the total loading volume, up 95.3% year-on-year and 42.2% month-on-month. 1-2 In January, the cumulative loading capacity of power batteries in China was 38.1GWh, an accumulated year-on-year increase of 27.5%. Among them, the cumulative loading volume of ternary batteries was 12.2GWh, accounting for 31.9% of the total loading volume, with a cumulative year-on-year decrease of 7.5%; the cumulative loading volume of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 25.9GWh, accounting for 68.0% of the total loading volume, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 55.4%.

In February, a total of 39 power battery enterprises in China's new energy automobile market realized loading supporting facilities, an increase of 4 compared with the same period last year. The top 3, top 5 and top 10 power battery companies have 18.7 GWh, 20.2 GWh and 21.6 GWh of power battery loading capacity, accounting for 85.3%, 92.2% and 98.4% of the total loading capacity, respectively. 1-2 In January, a total of 39 power battery enterprises in China's new energy automobile market realized loading supporting facilities, which decreased by 2 compared with the same period last year. In terms of exports, in February, China's power battery enterprises exported a total of 9.4GWh batteries. Among them, ternary battery exports 6.6GWh, accounting for 69.6% of total exports; lithium iron phosphate battery exports 2.8GWh, accounting for 30.1% of total exports. 1-2 In January, the cumulative export of batteries from China's power battery enterprises reached 17.4GWh. Among them, the cumulative export of ternary batteries is 11.9GWh, accounting for 68.7% of the total export; the cumulative export of lithium iron phosphate batteries is 5.4GWh, accounting for 31.0% of the total export.
