CTOnews.com March 11 news, ByteDance (ByteDance) held this week in Beijing "Cloud Firmware Exchange Salon" activity, released Cloud Firmware 2.0, to achieve product coreboot firmware solution. According to foreign science and technology media Phoronix report, Coreboot project members participated in this salon activity, ByteDance (ByteDance) and Lenovo cooperation, initially added support for LinuxBoot.

CTOnews.com Small Classroom: LinuxBoot is a free software project designed to replace most of the driver execution environment modules in Unified Extensible Firmware Interface firmware with the Linux kernel.

LinuxBoot was launched by Google and has been promoted as a Linux Foundation project over the past few years, with an increasing number of very large enterprises interested in the project.

ByteDance and Lenovo see LinuxBoot as "a powerful firmware solution with many potential benefits." There is still a lot of work to be done in the presentation to support more application scenarios.
