The "Optical Fiber active components and Devices-Packaging and Interface Standard part 22: 25Gb / s Direct Modulation Laser Packaging with temperature Control Unit" standard formulated by Wuhan Optical Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Optical Technology) and China Institute of Electronic Technology Standardization, successfully passed the discussion of IEC experts and was formally approved and issued by IEC.

According to reports, the standard stipulates the 25Gb / s DML laser packaging specification, and related products are widely used in 5G, data centers and WDM transmission network equipment. This is the first international standard for optical communication active devices drafted by China in the field of optical communication active devices.
