CTOnews.com, March 10, China Automobile Association data show that in February this year, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 552,000 and 525000 respectively, an increase of 48.8% and 55.9% respectively over the same period last year, with a market share of 26.6%. The export of new energy vehicles was 87000, up 5.3% from the previous month and 79.5% from the same period last year.

Of course, as the same period last year and January this year are Spring Festival months, the base is relatively low, automobile production and sales are significantly higher than the same period last year.

From January to February this year, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 977,000 and 933000 respectively, an increase of 18.1% and 20.8% respectively over the same period last year, and the market share reached 25.7%. In the past two months, 170000 new energy vehicles were exported, an increase of 62.8 per cent over the same period last year.

From January to February, among the new energy passenger vehicles, 150,000-250,000 and 35,000-500,000 models showed positive growth compared with the same period last year, of which 200,000-250,000 models increased the most. The number of vehicles below 150000, 250-350,000 and more than 500000 all decreased compared with the same period last year. At present, sales are still mainly concentrated in the 15-200000 price range, with cumulative sales of 265000 vehicles, an increase of 62.6 per cent over the same period last year.

In the first two months of this year, the total sales of the top 10 enterprise groups in car sales were 3.019 million, down 16.2% from the same period last year, accounting for 83.3% of total car sales, down 1 percentage point from the same period last year. If you only look at new energy vehicles, the top 10 are: BYD, Tesla, SAIC, Changan, Guangzhou Automobile, Dongfeng, Geely, ideal, Jiangqi, brilliance BMW.

According to the February wholesale sales ranking data given by CTOnews.com yesterday, BYD sold 176662 vehicles a month, all of which are new energy vehicles, accounting for nearly 40% of this area, while there are also some models that people are more concerned about in the list, such as MJ M5 sales reached 2298, an increase of 116.6% over the same period last year.
