CTOnews.com, March 10 (Xinhua)-- Microsoft Word users will get new, much-needed shortcuts that make text formatting easier.

The Microsoft Insider blog announced that Microsoft Word for Windows and Mac will get a "paste text only" keyboard shortcut.

Users may be familiar with this shortcut Ctrl + Shift + V (Cmd + Shift + V on Mac)-also known as "keep text only" or "paste plain text"-because it is already used in Microsoft Teams, Word for Web, Google, and Gmail. The paste text only shortcut is now available in both Word for Windows and Word Mac. "

In fact, the feature is not fully ready for full launch. According to the blog post, this feature is currently available to users of the following Windows and Mac versions of the Microsoft 365 home and business standard Beta channel:

Windows: version 16.0.15831.20174 or later

Mac: version 16.67.1113.0 or later

The blog also points out that users can enter the settings to delete any numeric and bulleted icons that may be copied to the paste text only shortcut.
