According to the patent description, the wearer of AirPods can control the playback of AirPods through head movement and posture.

CTOnews.com learned from patent reports that AirPods wearers can lower the volume by nodding down; leaning back can turn it up. Or the user can also be set to turn his head to the left to reduce the volume; turn his head to the right to turn up the volume.

In order to prevent misoperation, Apple requires the user to operate on the headset before starting the head posture, and switch to the head control mode by touching, squeezing and pressing to take effect.

The AirPods sensor determines the current position of the user's head, which is used as a basis, and then acts accordingly according to the movement of the wearer's head. Apple will set a certain threshold to avoid misoperation.
