CTOnews.com, March 9, announced the launch of 260W wired fast charging and 110W wireless fast charging, which can charge the battery from 0 to 25% in 1 minute and to 100% in 8 minutes. Charging from 0 to 100% can be achieved wirelessly in 16 minutes.

CTOnews.com noted that 260W quick charging is the latest achievement after Infinix launched 180W fast charging nine months ago, and the new technology has been upgraded from a dual 8C battery to a single 12C battery with a 4-pump circuit design that intelligently identifies power requirements and allocates the number of charge pumps needed.

According to the official press release, the charging efficiency of the technology is 98.5%, and the 4400mAh battery used in the test can maintain 90% of its initial capacity after 1000 cycles. The charger uses GaN material and AHB circuit structure, and has the characteristics of high power density, small size and safe charging control. At the same time, charging lines are also important. Infinix has developed a charging line that can carry up to 13A current to ensure a smooth 260W charging.

110W wireless charging uses customized small sensitive coils with different architectures-there are fewer but wider coils in the same space, reducing internal resistance, thereby reducing the temperature rise of the phone while charging.

In addition, Infinix also introduced a 110W custom wireless charger with a double-coil design that supports both vertical and horizontal wireless charging. The equipment is equipped with a fan at the bottom to improve heat dissipation.

In addition to wired and wireless, the standard also supports reverse charging, bypass charging and multi-protocol charging, and is compatible with other protocols, including Power Delivery 3.0.

Infinix has confirmed that the new technology will be available along with an Infinix Note smartphone to be launched this year, so we will see it in practice soon.
