In addition to accelerating the recruitment of relevant personnel to achieve mass production, Tesla is also applying for a patent related to Cybertruck, and they recently obtained a patent for tire design.

According to foreign media reports, the US Patent and Trademark Office has approved a patent related to tire design by Tesla, and Tesla will get the exclusive right to use the design in the next 15 years.

However, foreign media also mentioned in the report that although Tesla applied for and obtained a patent for the tire design of the Cybertruck electric pickup truck, it does not mean that the car will be used in the final mass production. Automakers continue to apply for patents, and many patent-related designs and technologies may never be used.

The Cybertruck electric pickup truck launched by Tesla in November 2019 has a unique shape and is very different from the pickup truck launched by other manufacturers before. if they really apply for patents for related components as reported by foreign media, they are expected to obtain a considerable number of design patents.
