CTOnews.com March 8 news, CTOnews.com learned from BYD Automotive officials that on March 8, BYD officially launched its first passenger car in the UK, the BYD ATTO 3, with a starting price of 36490 pounds (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 303000 yuan). The first four pioneer stores in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Milton Keynes will open in mid-March, allowing consumers to experience BYD's new energy car products.

BYD ATTO 3 is called meta-PLUS in China, and its official price is 13.98-167800 yuan. The mileage of the whole vehicle is about 510km.

At present, BYD is expanding on a large scale around the world, entering markets such as Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Brazil, Costa Rica, Colombia and Japan.

Data show that BYD sold a total of 1868543 vehicles in 2022, an increase of 152.5% over the same period last year, ranking first in global sales of new energy vehicles. As BYD's first model for the global market, the BYD ATTO 3 exported a total of 40014 vehicles in 2022.
