The total profit was 20.4 billion yuan, belonging to the parent company's net profit of 7.3 billion yuan, an increase of 15.8% over the same period last year. After excluding non-operating profit and loss, the net profit reached the highest level since the company went public. A cash dividend of 0.427 yuan is proposed for every 10 shares, and a total dividend of about 1.336 billion yuan is proposed to be paid to the shareholders of the company.

China Unicom's service revenue reached 319.3 billion yuan in 2022, up 7.8% from the same period last year. The revenue of the industrial Internet reached 70.5 billion yuan, up 28.6 percent over the same period last year. For the first time, the proportion of industrial Internet service revenue has exceeded 20%, and the proportion of innovative business revenue has reached an all-time high.

By December 2022, the number of users of China Unicom had reached a new high, with a total of 860 million large connection users, 100 million broadband users and 210 million 5G package users. China Unicom said that in 2023, the company will further expand its investment, and the level of capital expenditure will reach 76.9 billion yuan, of which the proportion of calculation network investment will exceed 19%, an increase of more than 20% year-on-year, and strive to lay a solid digital base.

According to the announcement, the board of directors recommended that the company should pay a cash dividend of 0.427 yuan (including tax) for every 10 shares after deducting other shares from the company's special buyback account after the market closes on the equity registration date determined in the announcement. A total of about 1.336 billion yuan (including tax) will be distributed to the shareholders of the company, and the remaining profits available for distribution by shareholders will be used for profit distribution in the following years.
