The Leica SL 100-400mm lens and L bayonet 1.4x extender lens will be released this week, priced at $2200 (CTOnews.com Note: about 15312 yuan) and $999 (currently about 6953 yuan), respectively, LeicaRumors said.

It is said that the lens made in Japan may be based on Shima's 100-400mm f / 5-6.3 DG DN OS, but it will also combine some of Leica's own features. In addition, Leica is likely to launch a second 2x magnifying lens this summer, with the next Japanese-made zoom lens.

It is worth mentioning that CTOnews.com found that the Shima 100-400mm f / 5-6.3 DG DN OS lens is currently listed at Amazon for $849 (currently about 5909 yuan), well below the $2200 price. This lens has a 5~20mm aperture, maximum focal length 400mm, minimum focal length 100mm, filter size 67mm, and weighs 1.13kg.
