CTOnews.com, March 8, according to foreign science and technology media Borncity reports, "streaking" Win11 22H2 users who have stopped using Defender or have not installed any other virus protection may encounter problems such as slower application startup speed and system jams after installing KB5022845 and Moments 2 update KB5022913 released by Microsoft in February this year.

Microsoft has not acknowledged the problem in its KB5022845 and KB5022913 update logs, but the media has received feedback from several users that the installation of the two updates has caused the system not to work properly.

A Win11 user reported that after installing KB5022845, the application startup time reached 1 minute, but the application was opened immediately before the update was installed. In addition, there are situations where the application is running in the task manager, but cannot jump out of the application interface.

Through in-depth investigation, HPM found that it was because the correct system configuration was not set up in this update, and it was caused by the absence of Windows Opener (that is, disabling Defender).
