CTOnews.com March 8, the latest data from Apple lens supplier Yujingguang show that in February 2023, Yujingguang's revenue was 927 million New Taiwan dollars (CTOnews.com: about 210 million yuan), down 31.19% from a month earlier, a nine-month low and a year-on-year increase of 10.29%.

In the first two months of this year, Yujingguang had cumulative revenue of 2.275 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 514 million yuan), up 5.91 per cent from a year earlier.

Yu Jingguang said that the revenue of the February camp is relatively low, mainly because the first half of the year is a traditional off-season for customers, the future operating conditions still depend on customer demand, and the overall operation this year is positive.

Taiwan media pointed out that in addition to mobile phone lenses, Yujingguang is actively expanding new application products, cutting into Sony and Meta supply chains one after another, and will be the next major supplier of Apple wearable lenses.

For comparison, Yujingguang's combined revenue in January 2023 was NT $1.347 billion (currently about 304 million yuan), down 7.5% from the previous month and up 3% from a year earlier, setting a record high for the same period in the previous year.
