CTOnews.com March 8 news, according to foreign science and technology media Popular Science reported that the British unconventional Computing Laboratory (UCL) successfully built a mushroom as the material of the prototype PC.

According to the report, the fungal computer mainly uses mycelium (the branch of the fungus, showing a reticular root structure) to replace the conductor and electronic components of the computer. The mushroom computer can receive and send electrical signals and retain memory.

Traditional computers use binary, but most of the dynamics in the real world are not simple 0 and 1 states. This is why researchers study quantum computers and living brain cell chips to calculate certain problems more accurately by using a series of complex multidimensional functions.

Mushrooms use an "Internet" to communicate with the environment and the creatures around them. You may have heard of this message called wood wide web.
