Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wu Yanzu and goodfull for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com March 8 news, Intel graphics hardware engineer Santa Clara in LinkedIn's job description revealed a new architecture, code-named Panther Lake.

As of CTOnews.com, Intel had identified the problem and removed the message, but Tom's Hardware had taken a screenshot and saved it.

Unfortunately, we currently know nothing about this mysterious architecture, but we can confirm that Panther Lake and its associated iGPU will be released during the 22nd Intel Framework Day. If the news is true, we should be able to see more official descriptions then.

Based on the details you can see so far, Panther Lake and its iGPU will arrive after Meteor Lake, Arrow Lake, and Lunar Lake. Considering that the latest Lunar Lake is scheduled to be available sometime in 2024, the Panther Lake will not be available until 2024 or around 2025 at the earliest.

By 2024 or around 2025, Intel may use the Intel 20A process (if not delayed in the second half of 2024) to produce the series of chips.

According to reports, Intel 20A will also adopt a new packaging architecture called RibbonFET and an interconnection technology called PowerVia. Although Intel does not release Intel 20A performance or energy efficiency data, there is no doubt that it will bring higher performance advantages over the existing 10nm products Alder Lake and Raptor Lake.

As a reference, Intel 4, which is to be used in Meteor Lake, promises a 20% performance per watt improvement over the existing Intel 7, while Intel 3, the optimized version of Intel 4, will achieve an 18% performance gain per watt.
