CTOnews.com March 8 news, market research agency IDC said in the latest report, including software, hardware, AI-centric system services, AI-related industry-scale expenditure will reach $154 billion in 2023 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1.07 trillion yuan), an increase of 26.9% over the same period last year.

According to the report, as more and more products are integrated with AI services, the scale expenditure of AI-related industries will exceed US $300 billion by 2026, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27% from 2022 to 2026.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that IDC highlighted 36 AI application scenarios, 35 of which will have a compound annual growth rate of more than 24%. The most obvious growth is in enhanced customer service agents, sales process recommendations, and project consultants and recommendation systems.

Geographically, IDC believes that the United States will account for more than half of all artificial intelligence spending over the forecast period. Western Europe is expected to account for more than 20%, with China in third place (no quantitative figures are provided in the report).
