CTOnews.com March 8 news, Microsoft in late February this year push Win11 February 2023 update (Moment 2), the most noteworthy improvement is the direct integration of Bing Chat features in the taskbar.

Previous versions of the taskbar search box will have Bing icons

Bing chat icon still exists on Search Highlights, but Microsoft's integrated Bing chat has been widely criticized by users for its weak functionality, and some Win11 Dev channel user feedback search boxes have been restored to versions without Bing chat integration.

Based on these changes, the media speculated that Microsoft plans to remove Bing chat from the taskbar in an update released on March 14. However, this is not the case. Some users removed it because of the Search Highlights feature, which Microsoft did not decide to remove.

A Microsoft spokesperson issued a statement to TechRader, a foreign technology media, which CTOnews.com translated as follows:

The Search Highlights feature displays content that rotates daily, while the Bing icon for the search box is displayed in the Search Highlights screen. We will continue to improve the rotation content, including Bing icons. We welcome feedback from those in the preview so that we can continue to learn and adjust the experience over time.
