CTOnews.com, March 7 (Xinhua)-- Google today released its Android Security Bulletin for March 2023, focusing on fixing two "key" vulnerabilities, CVE-2023-20951 and CVE-2023-20954. Google officially did not disclose details of the two vulnerabilities because most devices have not yet been updated.

Framework: report 8 security vulnerabilities, all of which are "high risk"

System: reported 8 security vulnerabilities, of which 2 were rated as "critical" and 16 as "high risk"

Google Play system update: report 5 security vulnerabilities

Kernel: report a "high risk" level of vulnerability

MediaTek components: report 3 security vulnerabilities, all of which are "high risk"

Purple Light display component: 4 security vulnerabilities are reported, all of which are "high risk"

Qualcomm components: report 3 security vulnerabilities, all of which are "high risk"

Qualcomm closed source components: 18 security vulnerabilities are reported, of which 2 are rated "critical" and 16 as "high risk"

After Google's monthly Android security announcement, it may take some time for major OEM vendors to deploy updates, depending on OEM vendors.
