CTOnews.com, March 7, according to foreign technology media SamLover reports, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 collapsible phone models are SM-F946U and SM-F946W, in which the "U" represents the United States, while the "W" represents Canada. The model of Galaxy Z Flip 5 is SM-F731U.

CTOnews.com previously reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 uses a new "water drop" folding hinge design to provide softer curves in a folded state, thereby reducing screen creases and reducing the risk of screen cracking.

SamMobile reported last week that Samsung had tested the reliability of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 "water drop" hinge. The entire test cycle will last about a month, and Samsung will further optimize the hinges based on the test results before mass production.

The latest report also points out that Samsung's internal waterdrop hinge is named "dumbbell" (Dumbbell), and shares the storage specifications of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, which is basically the same as the Galaxy S23 series:
