Alex Katouzian, senior vice president and general manager of mobile, computing and XR operations of Qualcomm, revealed when congratulating Pei Yu and his team on LinkedIn that the Nothing Phone 2 phone will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chip. Although he deleted the post immediately, it was found by 91mobiles.

Mr Pei has previously said that Nothing Phone (2) will be launched in the US and is expected to go public in the third quarter of this year, between July and September.

Unlike the mid-range Nothing Phone (1), Nothing Phone (2) will be more high-end. In the international market, the new phone will face competition from flagship models such as Samsung Galaxy S23 series, one plus 11 and Xiaomi 13 / Pro series.
