CTOnews.com, March 7 (Xinhua)-- Ross Young, CEO of screen supply chain consultancy DSCC, shared two messages in the latest series of tweets: one is to reconfirm that Apple will launch the 15-inch MacBook Air; in April, and to confirm that the screen refresh rate of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models is still 60Hz.

Ross Young said in a tweet shared with subscribers in February that Apple is already pushing ahead with screen production and expects Apple to launch a new MacBook Air in early April, but does not rule out the possibility that Apple will launch it earlier.

Young did not provide other details about the new model, and it is not clear whether it will be equipped with a M2 chip or a next-generation M3 chip based on 3nm technology.

Another piece of confirmation is that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models are equipped with the latest "smart island" function, but the screen refresh rate is still 60Hz. Young said Apple will not use 1Hz-120Hz-enabled LTPO screen technology on all iPhone models.
