According to reports, as a server board with a 64-core 2.0GHz operating frequency, the SG2042 has a 64MB L3 shared cache high-performance RISC-V processor. This successful adaptation is a key advance in the deepin for RISC-V ecosystem.

In stage 1, Deepin achieved the core goal of adapting DDE desktop environment on RISC-V platform, and successfully adapted Ali's Shadow 1520 platform and StarFive VisionFive V1. At the same time, with the full support of PLCT and RISC-V SIG group of Dragon Lizard Community, 6511 software package adaptations have been completed by source code unit.

The adaptation of the SG2042 server board was completed on the basis of stage 1. Deepin for RISC-V architecture SG2042 board experience image is based on deepin V23 version development, default equipped with DDE desktop environment, using manufacturer firmware and kernel branch, integrated deepin self-developed application module, verified basic system, wired network, USB interface, PCIE and other basic components have been able to smoothly use, HDMI can be displayed normally. At present, the warehouse dependency tree has been improved and some third-party application packages have been supplemented. The repository provides deepin's self-developed applications and common community software and development tools, which have been able to support common office and development work.
