This way, if you find that a clip needs to be changed after you start running the tool, you can quickly cancel the process, make the change, and then go back, grabbing the still image from each clip on the timeline.

Now, when using the Proxy Generator proxy generator, you can also retain the creation date of the original camera file. Synchronizing the media folder view also uses the creation date, and can also be manually updated in the media page if the date on the camera is not set correctly.

In addition, duration markers created from the in-out point range use the most recently set color as the default color; audio performance is also improved when scrubbing browsing in synchronous media folders; and better Resolve FX haze plug-in performance can be achieved when using DaVinci Wide Gamut wide color gamut. The new software also supports the use of DaVinci Resolve to decode ARRI RAW clips from black-and-white cameras directly into black-and-white mode.

Blackmagic Design also released a software update to DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.1.4, which enables faster loading of timelines with multiple tags and better handling of creation date metadata, while improving the ability to grab all still frames and synchronizing audio scrubbing operations in media folders, and adding black and white decoding support for ARRI RAW clips. This version requires DaVinci Resolve Studio license accessories or software activation codes.
