CTOnews.com March 6 news, Sony full-frame large-aperture focus G master lens FE 50mm F1.4 GM (model name: SEL50F14GM) went on pre-sale on February 23, priced at 9599 yuan, and is now officially on sale.

The new lens uses a number of advanced Sony optical design technologies, including high-precision ground XA lenses, high-thrust XD linear motors and new compact circular aperture blades, weighing only about 516g, about 33% less than the previous generation, and about 15% less in volume.

Sony FE 50mm F1.4 GM has built-in 2 XA (super aspheric) lenses and 1 ED (low dispersion) glass lens with 11 blades, which claims to focus 1.9 times faster than the previous generation, and can be used to shoot portraits, landscapes, weddings and trips to meet the dual-image shooting needs of photos and videos.

In addition, the recent focusing distance of FE 50mm F1.4 GM is about 0.41m, and the maximum magnification of autofocus is about 0.16x.

CTOnews.com learned from Sony officials that the Sony G Master lens FE 50mm F1.4 GM is Sonny's 72nd E-card lens and the 17th G Master lens.
