CTOnews.com March 6 news, Mobile Communications recently launched a new generation of industrial specification-level 5G NR module RG650E series and RG650V series in line with the 3GPP Release 17 standard. Compared with the previous generation of 5G products, the 5G R17 module performs better in terms of data transmission rate, network capacity, power consumption, delay and ultra-reliability, and can easily meet the higher wireless communication requirements of fast-growing vertical markets such as 5G fixed wireless access (FWA), enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) and industrial automation.

The remote RG650E and RG650V series are based on Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 and X725G modems and RF systems, respectively, and support 5G independent networking (NSA) and independent networking (SA) modes. Among them, in the Sub-6GHz spectrum, RG650E supports the highest 300MHz bandwidth and RG650V supports the highest 200MHz bandwidth.

Snapdragon X75 is the world's first 5G Advanced-ready modem and RF system.

In terms of hardware configuration, RG650E and RG650V integrate quad-core A55 processors to support 5G downlink carrier aggregation, which greatly improves the 5G communication rate.

In addition, remote provides a SoC solution that matches the RG650x module, which supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology, which can greatly increase the transmission rate of customer applications, reduce latency, and enhance the overall network capacity. At the same time, this series of modules also support OpenWRT, aiming at the network routing function, support a wide range of upper ecological applications.

With the support of RG650x-related features, RG650x will bring a more stable and smooth 5G network experience for a series of industrial, corporate and home applications that require very high network speed by comparing the communication performance of optical fiber. For example:

FWA devices, including CPE, home gateway, enterprise gateway, industrial router, mobile hotspot, etc.

EMBB terminals, including HD video live streaming, AR / VR devices, drones, etc.

Industrial automation applications, including automatic guided transport vehicles (AGV), remote control and robots.

The RG650x series supports Qualcomm Positioning Suite and the ninth generation Qualcomm GNSS hardware (which supports both GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, NavIC and QZSS), which greatly simplifies product design while providing faster, more accurate and more reliable location services in a variety of environments.

To further facilitate customer development, this series of modules integrates a number of industry standard interfaces, such as USXGMII, PCIe, USB 2.0 / 3.0 / 3.1, PCM, etc., and supports VoLTE and VoNR functions.

In addition to high-performance 5G modules, Mobile can also provide customers with a range of matching antenna products to help customers optimize network connection efficiency and simplify the equipment development process. These antennas can be pre-integrated into the removable module to speed up time to market and reduce common problems in the development process.
