CTOnews.com, March 5, according to the latest revelations, Microsoft is testing an AI feature for Windows 11 that can add depth of field to the background.

According to a picture released by Windows whistleblower Albacore, Microsoft added a switch called "Depth effects" under the personalization-> background option of Windows 11.

According to the switch description, when the user turns on this option, Windows 11 will use AI to add a depth-of-field effect to the current background image (wallpaper), which highlights part of it and blurs the other part, which sounds a bit like the portrait mode when taking pictures on a mobile phone.

Twitter user PhantomOcean3 found a string with the same description in the Windows Insider version, as well as a string called Parallax Background (parallax background).
