CTOnews.com, March 5 (Xinhua)-- Foxconn, the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer and major assembler of Apple's iPhone, said on Sunday that revenue fell 11.65% in February from a year earlier due to weakness in smart consumer electronics, but stuck to its revenue forecast for the first quarter.

Foxconn said in a statement that February 2023's revenue reached the second highest in February of the previous year, with revenue of 402 billion New Taiwan dollars (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 90.852 billion yuan).

Compared with January, Foxconn's revenue fell 39.12% in February from a month earlier, while cumulative sales in the first two months of this year rose 17.94% from a year earlier. Foxconn said the outlook for the first quarter of 2023 was broadly in line with market expectations based on revenue performance in the first two months.

Foxconn will release its latest quarterly results on March 15, when more data will be detailed.
