According to reports, Fudi Technology set up the research and development team of the millimeter wave radar product line in 2016, completed the development of the first 24GHz angle millimeter wave radar in 2017, and finally mass produced and loaded after many product iterations. In addition, the shipments of RB1 platform angle radar exceeded one million at the end of 2022. At present, it has taken over the full share of Cape BYD radar.

Fudi Technology said that the RF1 platform uses more complex DDMA (Doppler diversity transmission) waveforms, transmitted through the multi-antenna modulation of DDMA, and the correlation detection signal chain realized by the on-chip computing resources of its main control chip TI- AWR2944, which achieves longer detection distance and better angular resolution than the commonly used TDMA (time diversity emission) waveforms.

CTOnews.com learned from the information released by Fudi Technology that the platform uses MIMO technology and has 16 virtual channels, 25% more than the mainstream veneer forward radar scheme in the market, thus improving radar performance in an all-round way. The system integrates HSM (hardware security module) and 100 megabit Ethernet interface to ensure the deployment of information security and functional security, and realizes BOM cost control with excellent integration.

Fudi Technology pointed out that the RF1 platform has successfully passed the rigorous test project and will be mass-produced and loaded in March this year, becoming the first manufacturer in the world to successfully develop and install this program. This year, 4D imaging radar, intelligent car door radar and cabin live detection radar will also be mass produced one after another.
