March 5 news, according to foreign media reports, the new energy passenger car manufacturers wholesale sales newsletter released by the passenger association shows that Tesla China wholesale sales in February for 74,402 vehicles, higher than the previous month's 66,051 vehicles, month-on-month growth of 12.64%; also higher than the same period last year 56,515 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 31.65%.

Tesla's Shanghai Super Factory sold more than 74,000 wholesale vehicles in February, which means that domestic Tesla has delivered more than 140,000 vehicles this year.

According to a previous report released by the Federation, Tesla China's wholesale sales in January were 66,051 vehicles. Including 74,402 vehicles in February, domestic Tesla wholesale sales in the first two months of this year have reached 140,453 vehicles, an increase of 20.71% year-on-year.

Tesla Shanghai Super Factory, located in Lingang Industrial Zone, was started on January 7,2019. Phase I was completed and put into operation at the end of that year, and the Model 3 produced began to be delivered to public users on January 7 of the following year. After starting production of the Model 3, the second phase of Tesla's Shanghai Superplant also began construction and was completed by the end of 2020 to start production of the Model Y.

With the continuous optimization of production lines, Tesla Shanghai Super Factory has been continuously improving its production capacity. It has become their vehicle factory with the highest output. In addition to delivering Model 3 and Model Y to domestic users, it is also exported to Europe and other markets in large quantities, which is their important export base.

In Friday's February new energy passenger car manufacturer wholesale sales newsletter, the association did not disclose the export status of domestic Tesla in February, but in the January national passenger car market analysis report released on February 8, the association disclosed 39,208 exports, considering that domestic Tesla is still exported in large quantities in the first half of February, the export volume in the first two months is expected to be no less than 60,000.
