After nearly 8 days of orbit change operation and fixed-point acquisition, the satellite was successfully positioned at 21:49 on March 3.

China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation said that satellite measurement and control rights were transferred from the Xi'an Satellite Measurement and Control Center to the user ground station on March 4. Next, the China Star 26 satellite will carry out in-orbit testing before it is delivered to users as planned.

Zhongxing 26 satellite is the first high-throughput satellite with over 100 Gbps capacity in China, and it is also a new generation of high-throughput broadband communication satellite that meets the requirements of satellite Internet and communication transmission. The satellite is mainly used to provide high-speed broadband access services for fixed terminals and vehicle / ship / airborne terminals.

CTOnews.com once reported that the Zhongxing 26 satellite was developed by the Fifth Institute of the Aerospace Science and Technology Group, using the self-developed Dongfanghong 4 enhanced satellite platform, equipped with Ka band payload, mainly covering the whole of China and surrounding areas.
