Sony said that with 250 million people with low vision worldwide, the kit uses the technology of QD Laser, a Japanese semiconductor-related company, to project images captured by cameras directly onto the retina, and people with poor eyesight can recognize clear images, turning "invisible" into "visible".

The kit consists of two parts: Sony CyberShot DSC-HX99 digital camera + QD Laser retinal projection viewfinder, the latter uses a weak laser to project optical tricolor RGB (red, green, blue) onto the human retina.

The Sony CyberShot DSC-HX99 digital camera uses a 1ram 2.3-inch CMOS sensor with effective pixels of 1820 megapixels, a 24-720mm zoom lens and a LCD touch screen that supports 4K shooting.

Sony DSC-HX99 RNV suite is currently only sold offline in Sony stores in Japan, and the number is limited. In principle, each person can only buy one set at a price of 1098 thousand yen (currently about 5567 yuan), which will be available in the United States later.
