In a statement to IGN, Larian Studios said that Baird Gate 3 does not have an exclusive agreement and that the studio plans to release Baird Gate 3 for PC, Mac, GeForce NOW, Xbox and PS5, while the Xbox version is under development and has not yet addressed the Xbox Series X / S split-screen cooperative gaming function, which has led to the postponement of its official release.

Following the release of the PS5 version and the release date, we have clarified that we plan to release Baird Gate 3 for PC, Mac, GeForce NOW and PS5. In other words, we are not exclusive about which platforms can launch Baird Gate 3, and if we are ready, we will announce support for other platforms.

We have seen a lot of different interpretations of what this means, so we would like to clarify further. We've been working on the Xbox version of Baird's Gate 3 for some time. In the process of developing the Xbox version, we encountered some technical problems. Until we are sure that we have found the right solution, we do not have 100% confidence in announcing the Xbox version, especially if we cannot make the split-screen cooperation meet the same standard on Xbox Series X / S.

There is no platform exclusive agreement to prevent us from releasing Baird Gate 3 simultaneously on the Xbox platform. We just want to make sure that each version meets our standards and expectations.

According to officials, Baird Gate 3 is a vast, dramatic, player-driven role-playing game based on the rules of Daird 5e. The first series of works was published in 1998, and the second is being released in 2000, which has been more than 20 years. "Baird Gate 2: enhanced", developed and released by Beamdog, went on sale on Steam on November 16, 2013, and updated simplified Chinese support in the test channel in May 2018.
