In terms of appearance size, the size of SIM card is gradually miniaturized. In terms of technical functions, SIM cards are evolving towards electronic and multifunctional directions, with the emergence of remotely configurable eSIM (embedded SIM) technology, as well as brand-new cards that combine bus cards, digital wallets and other applications with SIM cards.

In terms of product form, China Unicom has continuously released or jointly released eSIM module, eSIM watch, eSIM locator, eSIM CPE and other products. In the future, China Unicom will expand its research on eSIM PC, PAD and other new products to enrich eSIM categories.
