CTOnews.com, March 3 (Xinhua) Foxconn has signed an agreement to set up a factory in the southern Indian state of Trengana, creating 100000 jobs over the next 10 years, Bloomberg reported on Thursday.

An agreement was reached after talks between Liu Yangwei, chairman of Foxconn, and K Chandrasekhar Rao, chief minister of Trengana.

CTOnews.com learned from Bloomberg that the government of Trengana did not disclose the size of Foxconn's investment, nor did it specify the products to be produced in the state.

Foxconn plans to add another 53000 employees in India over the next two years, bringing the number of workers at its factories in southern India to 70000, the report quoted sources as saying.
