CTOnews.com, March 2 (Xinhua)-- Samsung today unveiled the first product of its 2023 audio product line, a portable speaker with a built-in battery called Sound Tower MX-ST45B, which has a maximum output power of 160W RMS and supports Bluetooth connectivity, which can connect televisions and two smartphones at the same time, making it perfect for parties.

The Sound Tower MX-ST45B has a battery life of up to 12 hours, but when it is powered by a battery instead of plugged in, the output power of the speaker is limited to 80W RMS. It also provides embedded LED lighting, which can change according to the rhythm of the music. It can even connect 10 Sound Tower synchronously to create a super shocking party effect.

Sound Tower MX-ST45B also supports IPX5 waterproofing, which means it can resist low-pressure water flow, accidental splashing and rainy weather.

In terms of portability, the Sound Tower MX-ST45B measures 281.0 x 562.0 x 256.0 mm and weighs 8 kg. Provides a 3.5mm input interface and is equipped with a remote control, but lacks optical input and NFC connection functions. The speaker also supports USB music playback and AAC, WAV, FLAC, MP3 formats.

Currently, the Sound Tower MX-ST45B appears to be available only in Samsung online stores in Brazil, priced at 2999 Brazilian reais (CTOnews.com note: currently about 3999 yuan), and may soon be available in more markets.
